The 42nd Diocesan Convention

conventionhalll1The 2010 diocesan convention is scheduled for Oct. 8-9 at the  Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center in Punta Gorda.

The theme for the 42nd annual convention is "Five Marks of Mission." Those are...

  • To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom;
  • To teach, baptize and nurture new believers;
  • To respond to human need by loving service;
  • To seek to transform unjust structures of society;

To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth.

The convention planning team seeks your suggestions about this year's gathering. Please send your thoughts to program chair Judy Stark.
