Register for convention online The online registration desk for the 40th annual convention of the Diocese of Southwest Florida is now open. Please follow the links to register for the convention, Oct. 17-18 at Christ Church in Bradenton. Proposed 2009 budget now available The proposed diocesan budget for 2009 is now available for download. The file also includes the 2008 audit report. Latest version of proposed canonical revisions Here a review of the latest version of the revisions of the diocesan Constitution and Canons. All voting clergy and delegates should review these proposals. Get a look at the convention book The 2008 convention book is finished and will be available at fall convocations for voting clergy and delegates. You can download a copy now by clicking here. Educational opportunities available Friday Read details about workshop offerings on Friday, Oct. 17. Make hotel reservations early Special convention rates at the Holiday Inn Riverfront. Nominees for elected office When diocesan convention comes to order in October, clergy and delegates will elect people to various seats on important committees. See who is standing for election. Preliminary schedule released Continuing educational opportunities will be available on Friday, Oct. 17. By popular demand, the Friday evening dinner/social hour returns. Ministry Fair added to convention schedule Convention will include a Ministry Fair, an opportunity for congregations, ministries and church-related vendors to show and tell the whole diocese what they're doing.
