Sponsored by the Episcopal Dioceses of Southwest and Southeast Florida, we serve a combined total of 161 congregations. We are proud to offer quality programming in which health and safety issues are a top priority. Weeklong sessions for two different age groups are designed to give campers an enjoyable, meaningful and developmentally appropriate camping experience. Campers participate in a Christian program designed to help them grow spiritually and emotionally, providing them opportunities to explore new interests, skills and friendships. Activities include swimming, hiking, canoeing, challenge courses, tennis, field sports, basketball and court games, and craft activities.
Music and the arts are also an important part of the program. Participants are encouraged to bring their own instruments and share their talents. Campers are given “free time” daily providing an opportunity to process the day’s events, and spend time with their old and new friends in Christ.
Goals:
- To provide a Christian camping experience that is accepting, inclusive, loving and affirming
- To build, nurture and live in an intentionally Christ-centered community, helping each camper gain a deeper understanding of, and appreciation for their own skills, abilities and gifts as a child of God
- To develop a sense of thankfulness for and stewardship of God’s creation
- To provide a quality Christian formation experience
Participant registration fee is: $360.00
